Poplar Ice Fishing Tournament Set

The Poplar River Ice Fishing Tourney is set for Saturday, Feb. 1. Registration runs from 10 a.m. to noon.

The tourney starts at noon and runs through 3 p.m.

Fees are $10 per hole or three holes for $25. All holes are pre-drilled.

Largest fish wins, any species.

First, second and third place winners all receive cash prizes. Additional door prizes will be given out at the end of the tourney.

Chili, hot dogs and hot chocolate will be available at no charge. No vehicles are allowed on the ice. A raffle is also planned.
