Indians Lose To Huntley

Poplar’s girls’ basketball squad lost to powerhouse Huntley Project, 71-23, during tournament play in Lockwood on Friday, Dec. 13.

Huntley Project took a 17-5 lead in the first quarter and held a 27-11 half-time advantage.

The Red Devils accounted for 28 points in the third quarter for a 65-20 lead.

Top scorers for Huntley Project were Paige Lofing with 23, Haedyn Simonson with 16 and Sannah Windyboy with 12 points.
