Blount Likes Striking From Long Range
Wolf Point High School senior Brenna Blount likes the feeling she gets when she’s on top of her basketball game.
Her strongest suit is providing the Wolves with an offensive spark when she’s hot from three-point range. Highlights so far this season have included hitting four long shots in a single quarter.
“It’s like I’m nervous in the beginning of a game. When I make one, I make another,” Blount said. “Usually once I’m on, I make a lot in a row.”
When asked how long she has played basketball, the senior replied, “Since forever.”
One of her happiest memories was playing for a championship

in the seventh grade.
Her individual goal for the season is helping her team qualify for the state tournament.
Blount’s favorite class is government. She especially appreciates learning about the U.S. constitution.
“I like history because it’s things that I haven’t learned before,” she said.
Her favorite teacher is Melissa Cromwell.
“I’ve known her since seventh grade, and we get along pretty well,” Blount said.
After high school, Blount plans to attend MSU Northern or another college in Montana. She wants to serve biology and business.
