Poplar Wrestlers Place In Bozeman

Poplar’s wrestlers competed at a large meet in Bozeman during the weekend.

Angelina Escarcega earned the title at 100 pounds. The senior pinned four opponents during the tournament. She pinned Lockwood’s Wai Fandrich in 1:45 for the championship.

Liberty Boadle placed fifth at 105 pounds. Boadle scored two pins and won another match by decision at the meet.

Blake Follette won three matches on pins at 120 pounds.

In the boys’ division, Navarjo Escarcega won two matches at 138 pounds. Jayden Eder earned a victory by pin at 160 pounds.
