No Mail On Thursday

A national day of observance has been declared for Thursday, Jan. 9, to honor the death of former President Jimmy Carter.

Various government services will not operate. Included in the suspended operations is the U.S. Postal Services’ suspension of regular mail deliveries, retail services and administrative office activity.

Postal Service facilities will resume regular operations on Friday, Jan. 10.
