Cowgirls Lose To Brockton

Brockton’s girls scored a 5442 win on the road in Culbertson on Saturday, Jan. 11.

Action was tight in the first half as the Warriors led 12-9 at the end of the first quarter and 22-18 at the half.

Brockton struck for 21 points in the third quarter for a 43-30 advantage. Tamryn Bauer scored 10 of Brockton’s points in the quarter.

Leading the Cowgirls in the game were Ator and Ivy Colvin with 15 points each.

Also scoring were Payton Labatte with six, Emma Berwick with four and Mariana Burciaga with two.

Bauer finished with 28 points to lead the Warriors. Adding 10 points each were Raykira Track and Ava Lone Bear.

Marlene Fish had four and Claire Clampitt had two points for Brockton.

The Cowgirls will host Bainville on Friday, Jan. 17, and head to Westby for a game against MonDak on Saturday, Jan. 18.
