Frazer Girls Post Road Victory

Frazer’s girls’ basketball team knocked off Dodson by a 59-20 road victory on Saturday, Jan. 11.

The Bearcubs took control from the start as they gained a 26-3 lead in the opening quarter.

Frazer led 40-15 at the half and 59-17 at the end of the third quarter.

Baily Beston finished with 20 points to lead the Bearcubs. Audrey Smoker added 12 points.

Also scoring for Frazer were Isabelle Fourstar with eight, Elli Mail with seven, Maci Fourstar-Sibley with five, Brianna Beston with four and Aubrey Mail with three points.

In the boys’ game, Dodson won by a 73-47 final.

After leading by a 17-16 margin at the end of the first quarter, the Coyotes scored 17 points in the second period for a 34-23 lead. Dodson held a 52-29 advantage at the end of the third quarter.

Top scorers for Frazer were Gabriel Beston with 20 and Zayden Hentges with 12 points. Also scoring were Bryce Fourstar with seven, Good with four and Cassius Smoker with four.

Junior Stiffman led Dodson with 30 points.
