Kay Wolff

Kay Marie Wolff, 82, of Circle died Jan. 18, 2025, in Glendive.

She was born on Sept. 27, 1942, in Jordan, the first daughter of Daniel and Gertrude Hinnaland and the first sister to Todd and Bob. She would later be joined by brother Jack and sisters Dana, Jill and Mari.

She married Robert Johnson in December 1960. To this union were born four children: Rick (March 1962) in Wyoming, Jackie (February 1964) in Jordan and Mike and Marlene (January 1965) in Circle. She married Aldo Wolff in the 1970s. Both husbands preceded her in death.

She worked for McCone County, but she followed her dream when she purchased the Tasty Freeze in 1995. It transitioned to Kay’s Family Dining, and she created Kay & 4 J’s Catering. Her passion was cooking. Even after selling the restaurant, she continued preparing meals for the Senior Center.

She was a hard worker and would do anything for anybody. She always loved horses and was proud that she was allowed to work beside the guys. She enjoyed riding
