Gas Prices Increase 7.7 Cents During Week
Average gasoline prices in Montana have risen 7.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.86/g on Monday, Jan. 20, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 615 stations in Montana. Prices in Montana are 10.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago and stand 0.9 cents per gallon higher than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has increased 8.1 cents in the last week and stands at $3.606 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Montana was priced at $2.73/g on Sunday, Jan. 19, while the most expensive was $3.09/g, a difference of 36.0 cents per gallon.
The national average price of gasoline has risen 6.5 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $3.09/g today. The national average is up 4.5 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 1.8 cents per gallon higher than a year ago.
