Senior Profile Scott Feels At Home In Bainville
The newest member of Bainville High School’s senior class of seven students is Hannah Scott. She moved to the area from Missouri after her father began working in an oil-related job.
Last year, the school that Scott attended had a senior class of about 300 students.
“I like that the people are very nice,” Scott said about Bainville. “You feel more connected than at my old school.”
She also appreciates the smaller class sizes. “It’s nicer for it this way,” Scott said.
Bainville’s students warmly welcomed her this fall as she was selected the school’s homecoming queen.
“I loved it,” Scott said. “I was so excited for it. I didn’t think that was going to happen.”
Her hobbies include swimming, hiking and art.
With art being her favorite class, she especially enjoys drawing or painting. Her favorites include charcoal and chalk pastel drawings.
Scott doesn’t have a particular favorite teacher. “I really like all my teachers this year. I can’t pick just one,” she said.
One adjustment that she isn’t totally pleased with regards eastern Montana’s weather. “It’s very cold, very cold,” Scott said.
After high school, Scott is considering attending cosmetology school or becoming a certified nursing assistant.
