Warriors Swept Games Against MonDak

 

The Brockton Warriors swept home basketball contests against MonDak on Friday, Jan. 17.

Brockton’s girls defeated MonDak by a 50-42 margin.

The Warriors put together a solid first half as they led 14-7 at the end of the opening quarter and 21-11 at the half.

MonDak closed the gap to 34-29 in the third quarter.

Tamryn Bauer finished with 27 points for the Warriors. Marlene Fish also reached double figures with 10 points.

Rounding out the scoring were Ava Lone Bear with six, Quintana Young with four and Taylor Cummins with three.

Brockton’s boys posted a 61-44 victory.

The Warriors trailed by a 27-24 half-time margin, but Brockton tallied 19 points in the third quarter to grab a 4337 lead. Brockton then scored 18 points in the final period for the win.

Top scorers for Brockton were Colter Nygard with 19, Josh Firemoon with 12 and Miles Boxer Jr. with 12 points.

Also scoring were Quannah First That Walks with eight, Ronnie Blackdog with four, Jarid Fasthorse Jr. with four and Charlie Firemoon with two.

Thomas Arnson scored 13 points for the Thunder.
