WPCO Members Vote For Silver Wolf Positions

About 20 Wolf Point Community Organization members gathered to vote for new board of directors for the Silver Wolf Casino on Monday, Jan. 27.

WPCO President Holly Hamilton said open positions included one four-year term, two two-year terms, two one-year terms and two alternates. To be an eligible candidate, individuals must be enrolled, live between Tule Creek and Lohmiller Road and be 18 years of age or older.

Tribal Executive Board member Lawrence Hamilton Jr. suggested to keep the current board members since they are the ones who are always attending WPCO meetings.

Holly Hamilton noted that she felt it is best to actually hold elections though.

Nominated to serve the one fouryear term position were Jeff Adams and Terrance Hamilton. T. Hamilton won election by a 13-8 margin.

Unanimously selected for the pair of two-year term spots were Jeff Adams and Nadine Adams. Voted unanimously for the two oneyear positions were Karen Todd and Wayne Two Bulls. Alternates selected were Lawrence Hamilton Jr. and Roxanne Gourneau.
