Brockton Sweeps Games In Frazer

Brockton’s basketball teams picked up two victories in Frazer on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Brockton’s boys won by an 81-51 final.

Ahead by a 23-19 margin at the end of the first quarter, the Warriors increased their lead to 42-28 at the half.

Brockton scored 17 points in the third quarter for a 5939 advantage.

Leading the Warriors were Miles Boxer Jr. with 23, Josh Firemoon with 20 and Jarid Fasthorse Jr. with 17 points.

Also scoring were Kameron Rattling Thunder with six, Colter Nygard with five, Weston Lambert with four, Lahmi Youngman with two, Bree Olney with two and Alex Bullcalf with two.

Brockton’s girls ran out to a 28-11 lead in the first quarter and the Warriors won by an 83-64 final. Brockton held a 44-31 half-time advantage.

Tamryn Bauer accounted for 36 points to lead the Warriors.

Also reaching double figures were Quintana Young with 14, Ava Lone Bear with 13 and Claire Clampitt with 12 points. Rounding out the scoring were Marlene Fish with six and Taylor Cummins with two points.

Top scorers for the Bearcubs were BriAnna Beston with 20, Baily Beston with 15 and Maci Fourstar-Sibley with 13 points.

Also scoring were Audrey Smoker with nine, Isabelle Fourstar with four and Lola Romero with two points.
