Frazer Girls Stop Dodson

The Frazer Bearcubs knocked off Dodson, 49-31, in girls’ basketball action on Saturday, Feb. 8. The Bearcubs jumped out to a 13-2 lead in the first quarter and increased the gap to 32-9 at the half.

Leading Frazer’s attack were Baily Beston with 14 and Audrey Smoker with 13 points.

Isabelle Fourstar and Bri-Anne Beston added seven points each.

Dodson won in the boys’ game by a 74-43 final.

The Coyotes gained a 24-5 lead in the first quarter. Ahead by a 33-17 half-time margin, Dodson increased the gap to 54-30 in the third quarter.

Gabriel Beston led the Bearcubs with 19 points. Bryce Fourstar scored eight and Zayden Hentges added seven points.

Junior Stiffarm accounted for 26 of Dodson’s points.
