Bulldogs Stop Plentywood Girls, 48-29

Bainville’s girls’ basketball squad scored an impressive 48-29 conference victory in Plentywood on Friday, Feb. 7.

The Bulldogs started out in strong fashion as they earned a 15-6 lead in the first quarter.

Bainville held a 26-15 advantage at the half and increased the gap to 39-22 lead at the end of the third quarter.

Leading the Bulldogs were Hailey Berwick with 17 and Tally Berwick with 14 points.

Rounding out the scoring were Addison Hansen with seven, Elsie Wilson with four, Lila Butikofer with four and Chandi Johnson with two.

Mallory Tommerup accounted for 11 of Plentywood’s points.

In the boys’ game, Plentywood won by an 80-22 final.

The Wildcats led 23-5 at the end of the first quarter and 52-8 at the half.

Scoring for the Bulldogs were Isaiah Bjorge with seven, Parker Berwick with six, Reed Winn with six, Rowan Wilson with two and Carter Pacovsky with one point.

Reaching double figures for Plentywood were Anderson Kaul with 17, Landon Flickinger with 15 and Chance Klein with 14 points.
