Brockton Squads Defeat MonDak Teams
Brockton earned two road basketball victories over MonDak on Friday, Feb. 14.
In the boys’ contest, Brockton rolled to a 71-49 victory.
Brockton held only a 27-26 half-time advantage, but the Warriors struck for 22 points in the third quarter for a 4937 lead.
The Warriors added 22 more points in the fourth quarter for the District 2C victory.
Jarid Fasthorse Jr. led the Warriors with 22 points. Josh Firemoon, Colter Nygard and Miles Boxer Jr. added eight points each.
Also scoring were Kameron Rattling Thunder with six, Tefton Bear with three and Quannah First That Walks with two.
Brockton’s girls came away with a 59-52 victory.
The Warriors jumped out to a 19-8 lead in the first quarter and a 34-21 half-time advantage.
Top scorers for Brockton were Ava Lone Bear with 24 and Quintana Young with 12 points. Taylor Cummins added nine points. Tamryn Bauer and Marlene Fish had six points each. Claire Clampitt scored two points.
Leading MonDak were Evelynn Lowes with 20 and Katelynn Folvag with 11 points.
